During the Lee Groberg project, I wore three layers of insulated clothing to keep me warm so I could shoot painting scrap with out shaking. In a free moment I caught this little girl dressed as a pioneer having fun in the snow while waiting to cross the river. The thought came to me how brave and hopeful our children are today. They are fighting a freezing storm, where only the gospel of Jesus Christ and the love of good parents can possibility preserve them.
