Jesus loves children. Here, a child nestles into his side while sitting on his lap while another reaches out to be held. His spirit and warmth engender trust and love. He admonishes, "Suffer the children to come unto me, for such is the kingdom of heaven"(Mosiah 3:18). We are all commanded to become as a child - submissive, meek, humble, patient, and full of love.
